On 24 September 2026, a new practical initiative will take place in Varna within the framework of the ANCHOR project, supporting participants from the project’s target groups in their access to the labour market.

The event will be organised in cooperation with the Directorate “Labour Bureau” – Varna and will combine practical training with a visit to a real working environment.

Practical Skills for Successful Job Applications

During the training session, participants will focus on some of the most important steps in the job-search process – how to identify suitable employment opportunities, how to prepare an effective CV and how to present themselves with greater confidence during a job interview.

The aim is to provide participants with practical guidance that can be directly applied when searching for jobs, preparing applications and meeting potential employers.

Visit to EUROTEX in Varna

The practical component of the initiative will include a visit to EUROTEX in Varna.

Participants will have the opportunity to experience a real working environment, learn more about workplace organisation and become familiar with available opportunities for employment and professional development.

The visit will allow participants to connect the knowledge gained during the training with the real expectations and requirements of employers.

Strengthening the Connection Between People, Institutions and Businesses

Through practical activities such as this one, the ANCHOR project aims to strengthen the connection between people facing greater difficulties in accessing the labour market, the institutions supporting them and employers that can provide real opportunities for professional development.

Combining practical training with direct contact with an employer represents an important step towards better preparation, greater confidence and more successful participation in the labour market.

The ANCHOR project is implemented within the Interreg Danube Region Programme and co-funded by the European Union.
