The AIRQUEST International STEM Exhibition was held in Varna on 20 June 2026, bringing together students, teachers, experts and project partners from Bulgaria, Romania, Türkiye and Ukraine.
A total of 13 student teams presented projects, experiments and practical solutions addressing important environmental challenges.
Türkiye was represented by six teams – four from Zonguldak and two from Trabzon. Three teams joined from Romania, two from Ukraine and two from Bulgaria.
The projects explored air quality, climate change, sustainable lifestyles, environmental protection and green technologies. Visitors were able to examine the exhibits, learn more about the ideas behind them and speak directly with the young creators.
The exhibition demonstrated how STEM education can transform complex environmental issues into practical challenges that encourage observation, experimentation, creativity and problem-solving.
It also provided students with an opportunity to present their work to an international audience, exchange ideas with peers from other countries and recognise air pollution as a shared challenge across the Black Sea region.
The AIRQUEST International STEM Exhibition was an important step towards building a more informed and engaged generation of young people ready to contribute to a cleaner and healthier future.
