On September 25th, 2024, the second Multiplier Event of the SIBILA project was held at the Professional High School for Textile and Design in Varna. The event was aimed at both teachers and final-year students preparing for the next steps in their education and careers.
Venue and Participants
The event attracted 29 participants – an almost equal number of teachers and students. Teachers were particularly interested in integrating the SIBILA platform into their curriculum, while students found the training materials relevant to their upcoming university studies and career plans.
Event Highlights
The program included a presentation on the SIBILA project and a demonstration of the e-learning platform, offering innovative tools such as diagnostic tests and final exams. All attendees had the opportunity to register on the spot and explore the platform’s courses.
An engaging addition to the agenda was a presentation by Gabriela Dimova, who shared her experience visiting the textile laboratory of TZU in Brno. This inspired participants and provided a real-world context to the theoretical knowledge shared during the event.
Results and Feedback
The teachers were particularly excited about the potential of the platform to enhance textile and design education, while students expressed a desire to continue the courses. The event concluded with overwhelmingly positive feedback and promising engagement in the project’s future activities.
These events underscore the importance of supporting both students and teachers in the textile industry, giving them access to innovative tools for education and professional growth.
