On 8 April 2026, the First Year Review of the PATHS project-DRP0301100, funded under the Danube Region Programme, was held in Bratislava. The meeting brought together project partners and the Joint Secretariat Project Officer to review progress and coordinate the next steps.
Led by the University of Pécs, the PATHS project started on 1 April 2025 and will run until 31 March 2028. The project aims to support the development of Life Path Support Services and career guidance approaches for young people in the Danube Region through transnational cooperation and the exchange of good practices.
During the first two periods, partners established a strong basis for cooperation, held regular coordination meetings, and advanced the main project activities. As a communication partner, BATTI developed communication tools and templates, supported the launch of the official social media channels, and prepared the Communication Plan.
Key achievements include the development of a common methodology for nine Country Reports, research involving students, parents, and teachers, and the preparation of catalogues of training opportunities. The Danube Region Report on the Demographic Environment and Resources of Career Guidance was also completed.
The project also included study visits in Slovenia and Austria, enabling partners and stakeholders to exchange good practices in career guidance, youth support, and practical learning.
So far, the Life Path Support Service Strategy for the Danube Region has been finalised, while the Action Plan is expected to be completed in the next project period.
The First Year Review confirmed the solid progress of the PATHS project, effective partner coordination, and a strong foundation for the next stages of implementation.
